Why is our data different?
All the performances we publish come directly from our own farm and are calculated from our production results.
On most websites, the performances given for a breed are general values, taken from books or other sites. At Elsanor it is different: every published figure comes from our own lines, measured on our farm.
Measured, not copied
Laying, fertility, hatching: we record this data daily, pen by pen and batch by batch. The rates you see are calculated from these records — no estimates, no theoretical values.
Specific to our lines
The same breed can give very different results depending on selection, feeding and rearing conditions. Our figures describe our birds, from our selection work — they tell you what you can really expect from our poultry.
Across several seasons
We keep the history season after season, making it possible to follow a line over time rather than an isolated snapshot.
